Removal of Panel Members

TalkingPoint is set-up in order to gather members' views in respect of various matters relating to the Leeds Building Society. Those views are subsequently used for market research purposes. It is important that discussions are entered into by panel members in good faith, and that no member is able to divert or influence the flow of discussion. It is also important that members do not have any personal agenda other than answering the questions asked as a non-affiliated member of the public. In the event of members failing to act in accordance with these basic requirements, Leeds Building Society reserves the right to remove those members who are negatively influencing the research process.

In this event the following process will be used:

  1. Warning. The member will be warned that he or she has acted in a way that is inappropriate, and reminded of the need to observe the rules of the activity.
  2. Removal. The member will be informed that, having again acted in a way that is inappropriate following the earlier warning, his or her membership of TalkingPoint will cease. Subsequently the member’s account will be closed within the following 24 hours.
